Microsoft approached us to define the visual style for the brand's global approach to illustration. The guides and principles we established live on across the brand as each product group has embraced the visual approach to tell their own stories.
My role in this project was to help conduct an audit of existing Microsoft imagery and stock illustrations, and then to help create a set of unifying principles to help guide four illustrators in creating a versatile library of art Microsoft could use in a variety of marketing and internal applications.
